Gen. 2 E.C.E Pods
The gen. 2 E.C.E. pods are designed for easy E.C.E access for both Users, and manipulator refills. Each pod has a setting for thermal, frost, and static. When you select a setting, the pod will shift into the best form to contain and release the chosen E.C.E.. Though each setting has the same method for manipulator refills. There two settings for release, M-R and U. M-R disables each E.C.E.’s User manual release methods, and enables the manipulator refill injector. U disables the manipulator refill injector, and enables the User manual release methods.
Warning
If not a user of the stored E.C.E., make sure the M-R setting is always on.
Thermal: If full, it should never be carried around for long periods of time, and should only be spatialled in when needed. This state has 2 User release methods.
Method 1 - Manual Release: Twist the handle counter clockwise until it beeps, then pull. This will release the E.C.E. in your direction.
Method 2 - Shatter Release: Use something pointed to shatter the glass sides to release the E.C.E.
Frost: In this state the glass sides close and can only be manually released.
Manual Release: Twist the handle counter clockwise until it beeps, then pull. This will dispense the E.C.E. out the bottom.
Static: In this state, a static conductor is exposed up until a release method starts. This state has 2 User release methods.
Method 1 - Manual Release: Twist the handle counter clockwise until it beeps, then pull. This will open the glass sides, releasing the E.C.E. into the air.
Method 2 - Shatter Release: Use something pointed to shatter the glass sides to release the E.C.E. into the air.
Manipulator Refill Instructions
Set to M-R.
Twist handle clockwise until it beeps.
Stick injector into manipulators refill socket.
Push in handle until it beeps twice.
Pull handle back to original position
NOTE: Injector will not work if not inside refill socket.
Once handle is back in original position the pod will revert to base empty state, ready for a refill.
