Hey Sehryn, I have a little addon for your security request a while back. I kept this one a secret Because I thought it would be a nice little surprise. I’ve been working on a design for a mostly automated drone defense system. I’m calling them “Piranha Drones”. I haven’t come up with a design that would work on land yet, but I’ve got a blueprint ready to be tested for space station and spaceship testing.

Their design includes:

• 5 thrusters

  • 4 for hyper mobility

  • 1 for primary forward thrust

• 2 thermal lasers

• A pair of heavy duty jaws

They’re about the size of my tits, but are designed to take down an enemy ship by swarming. The jaws are designed to grab hold of ships, and the lasers are designed for both spatial combat and to mine into spaceship hulls. With enough of these drones, or with simply one left unattended for long enough, enemy ships won’t be able to last.

After we get the drones all perfected I’ll need to design a hive launcher for them. If everything goes well, I was even considering designing a version that would clamp on and use static E.C.E. to disable the ship.

We should have the first prototype done by Monday, so would you like to join us for the testing say… Wednesday?
