Spatial Manipulator Hand Mk.2

The spatial manipulator hand Mk.2, or S-M hand Mk.2 is a cybernetic designed for the defense district’s military squad leaders and resource rangers.

The Mk.2 came to be after a week point was found in the Mk.1’s palm plate. When this week point was hit hard enough, it was possible to crack the casing and cause undesired E.C.E. reactions. All Mk.1 users were then required to get theirs replace by the Mk.2 once testing was done.

While the Mk.1 was more bulky and primarily external, the Mk.2 is mostly internal. The only external parts are a small screen, keypad, and a bi-receptacle on the back, and an ejector in the palm. On the inside there is a loading chamber of empty spatial translocator pods, as well as a mixing chamber in between the ejector and bi-receptacle. The size and shape of the cybernetic can vary, depending on the size and race of the person using it.

This cybernetic is primarily manually controlled as the neural adaptor is used only for the synthetic replacements, and to make it fry itself when no brain activity is detected. For safety reasons.

How to use:

  1. Type in the coordinates for the spatial drop point and hit the green button.

  2. When bi-receptacle opens, plug spatial canister in bi-receptacle and hit eject on the canister.

  3. When screen says “Ready,” remove canister.

  4. When bi-receptacle closes and ejector opens, place hand on the object you wish to translocate and hit the green button.

  5. The translocator pod will stick to object and a 5 second count down will show on the screen for you to get away before the spatial rift takes the object.

The amount of translocators the loading chamber can hold varies based the size and wishes of the user. When the user runs out of pods in the chamber, they can reload by holding down both buttons on opposite ends of the bi-receptacle. This will open the inner chambers for reloading
