Topic: S-M Hand Weak Point

I have already made the report of the malfunction to R.E.D., but I have decided to make a log in order to help both those in R.E.D. understand the situation better and for those who use their spatial manipulator outside of the VexTech complex.

So, it turns out that the current model of the spatial manipulator cybernetic for the hand has weak point located at the base of the palm’s plate. If this week point gets hit hard enough the plate seems to shift up just enough to push against the nozzle’s casing, which can crack the casing with enough pressure. While this does require a lot strength and/or weight, it is extremely dangerous for anything spatial E.C.E. related to be damaged.

According to Klemyn, if the casing were to crack or brake it can either disable the manipulator or cause one of the pipes to brake. Best case scenario is it shutting off. But if one the pipes brake then that can cause either spatial catalyst or E.C.E. activator to leak out into the air. If spatial catalyst were to escape then there is a chance for a random hole to open up leading do unknown locations, but if E.C.E. activator were to leak then it is possible for any E.C.E. reaction to happen completely spontaneously.

I don’t think I need to tell you about what sort of consequences could happen if either were to happen.

If anyone is to notice that their palm’s plate has shift at all or seams somewhat loose in the slightest, I would suggest checking in with someone from R.E.D. to get it either fixed or replaced.

I have been told that once they are done with the latest version of the spatial hand cybernetic, everyone with the old version will be required to get the upgrade for their own safety.
