Topic: Winter Security

ATTENTION ALL SECURITY STAFF

As I am sure many of you have noticed, the weather outside is getting increasingly more dangerous due to winter. And as we get colder, we get closer to our planets global hibernation. Meaning we won’t finding any wildlife out in the open for at least 2 to 3 months depending on how long the freeze lasts.

Therefore, I will be lowering the amount of people working outside. This means I will also be lower the amount of teams per perimeter check. But, as a just in case I will also be increasing each survey team by two members. This way if the weather get to bad, each team will have a higher chance of returning safely. Each survey team will leave and enter the complex via spatial teleporter in one of our outposts. Please do not use any exterior doors as I would like to prevent another snowdrift incident.

Now for those of you who are not scheduled for perimeter checks, and those who are not apart of survey teams but still work outside, you will be moved inside to one of our various internal security posts. This way we don’t end up lacking in security in a case of emergency, but also keeping so safe from the freeze. I’ll do my best to set you all up in posts closest to your original work post. This way it won’t be too much of a change in your routine and to lower your chance of needing new training. However, If you do happen to want to try out a new post and/or get cross-trained, then now would be a perfect time. Just make sure to contact either one of my assistants or I before the end of the week so we can get your schedule set up properly.

The changes to everyone’s schedules will be made within the next two weeks so make sure to keep an eye on yours.

I want everyone to be safe and have NO CASUALTIES this year!

I wish everyone the best of luck!
