Hello VexTech Staff,

It has been brought to my attention that people believe that the J.L.D.C. is not the best for information storage. And with little consideration needed, I agree. While the general concept sounds amazing, in practice, not so much. It take too much time to go fishing through everything to find information.

Therefore, Cori and I have decided to make the “Vextech Index”. Courtesy to Marianne from genetics for the idea. Similarly to Fennick’s bestiary, the index will hold all information on company based discoveries and inventions. Each page may even have a picture, if possible. They had also requested a map of the complex, which I had not realized we didn’t have one. And I’m am now wondering why this is the first time someone brought it up. A map will be made, but it wont be apart of the index.

Now, this doesn’t mean The J.L.D.C. will be shut down. It still has many other uses that have been very useful. In the end nothing will change about the J.L.D.C., there will just be a separate place to find better information without the need to go fishing.

Anyway, since the index will be such a massive integration to the system, I’m afraid we’re going to have to disable the upload function for the time being. we don’t know how long it will take, but if others are also trying to upload at the same time it could increase the upload time significantly. The data banks will be left open though so people can still find the information they need.
