So I just got here like 2 days ago, and they told me I should make a post on this log system to help set up. This has got to be the weirdest new job I’ve ever had. I get that The Timbrancy has only been allied with VexTech for about 7 months, but I didn’t realize that I would be the FIRST Timbran to work for VexTech. There are so many other sentient species I didn’t even know existed! I don’t even have a clue where the high managers are from. The only other species I recognize are the Macridites. We’ve been doing business with them for so long after all, I’m surprised we weren’t already allied.

I’m glad I brought a bunch of my stuff though. Since my paycheck will be the first ever transaction between The Timbrancy and Vextech, they don’t even have an exchange rate set up yet. I didn’t even know there was different kinds of monies to be honest. I guess that would make sense though. Our industries don’t really have a related upbringing. I’m gonna have to wait a bit before I’m able to buy anything though. And I’m gonna have to get used to calling them “Ve-Creds”.

I think I might be getting moved to one of their space stations after my training is done. Most of my experience is in space repair after all. I imagine training shouldn’t take too long though. How different could their tools be? I’ve seen some unique looking equipment but I imagen it should all work the same. A bit sad I wasn’t allowed to bring any of my own tools.
