Uhmah, I think found where those unknown cultist sigils come from. I have a friend back on Terra, that studies pre-flare Terran civilization. And during my vacation, I gave them a visit. While I was at their house, they showed me some of the new books they had found. And while looking through them, I thought I recognized some of the ancient characters that they used to write with. I asked if I could barrow some of them, but they need them for work. So I took some pictures instead.

But, my suspicion was right. The unknown sigils are of ancient Terran origin. Now I can’t say this is exactly how this came to be, but there is an ancient science they used to teach called “quantum physics”. Part of this study was that it was supposedly possible to alter reality, in some ways, through shear dreams and expectation. Now of coarse it is near impossible to tell if these studies were true, but I have an hypothesis.

What if: The amount of people panicking and hoping for some kind of savior, actually ended up creating one?

After the solar flare hit, everyone was trying to find a way to survive. Some went heavily religious, trying to get answers from whatever god/s they worshiped; Some went to the occult, hoping to summon something that could save them; And some when into deep scientific research, trying to invent something that would allow the human race to survive their new dying planet. Of course you know the rest. Science won, and the human race evolved.

But, what if those occult activities managed to somewhat break into Thmzohml? And with the mix of the will to survive, created something that they never managed to reach. Up until these new cultists found their old scripts. It has been proven that the scripts are currently incomplete. But by the looks of some of the photos and samples we’ve been collecting, they may be getting close to true contact.

Of course, this is just a hypothesis. But as far as I can tell, it’s the best one we've gotten so far. If you give me permission, I can get in contact with my friend to see if they can help us look deeper.
