Hey Uhmah, I finally had time to run some tests on that black liquid the D.D. picked up a while back. And it's just latex, liquid latex. The only differences is that it has very faint interdimensional traces, of both here and Thmzohml, and it refuses too coagulate. I have not tried to vulcanize it yet. But, I am theorizing the latter is due to the former.

I have also come up with two hypotheses’s on the interdimensional traces:

A) The traces are due to the failure of their ritual reaching their target’s dimension. But their summoning wasn’t an complete failure, and managed to break partially into Thmzohml. Causing the latex to catch faint traces from Thmzohml, and from passing through the rift between.

B) The traces are due to their target being trapped somewhere in the rift between. And wherever their target is trapped, it is linked to both dimensions.

If hypotheses B is true, then it means they are extremely close to finding their target. Or they have found their target, and have not perfected the summoning part of their ritual. Regardless, I’m getting the feeling we need to pick this up.

I understand that the new search and rescue ship is going to have enhance searching capabilities. So maybe when they are done, we can use them to improve our chances of learning more.

Also, I am willing to study further. So if the D.D. manage to get some fresh samples, or a sample of something new, please send it to me and I will get right to it.
