Static E.C.E
Controllability Level: 5 Stability Level: 5
Static E.C.E. is the most powerful E.C.E. used by the company, both in power production and lethality. It is used as a power supply for spaceships, space stations, and backup power for the complex, as well as some weaponry.
Just like it’s nickname insists, “Lightning Fog,” static E.C.E. can be characterized as sparkly purple fog with lighting that shoots to anything conductive.
WARNING
Coming in contact with uncontained static E.C.E. will result in death if you are not equipped with the right safety equipment or a User with static affinity
Static E.C.E. is middle ground when it comes to controllability and stability. You would think with how dangerous it is it would be lower on stability, but it can be easily contained. Static E.C.E. will shoot lightning at anything electrically conductive, but if the material is conductive enough it will attract the E.C.E. itself. All you need to do to contain it, is by putting something highly conductive inside something completely non conductive and seal it. Also static E.C.E.’s power output does not increase nor decrease, making it easier to design equipment for it. Now as for the controllability, Users can not do too much with it. Having affinity for static mostly only makes you immune to getting shocked and makes it completely harmless to you. But with a high enough affinity, a user can control where the E.C.E. shoots it’s lightning at.
Static E.C.E. is an extreme power source and can only be use for equipment with a high to extreme power requirement. While thermal has a hard cap for how much power it can produce, static has a hard cap on how little it can produce. For this reason majority of equipment that uses static as its primary power source, also uses thermal power for the parts that can not handle the output of static E.C.E.. Most static equipment tends to be on the bigger side due to their need of multiple systems.
